Additional Seats for the following Categories of Candidates

(1) 5% of the total seats will be offered to foreign students.

(2) 5% of the total seats will be offered to CW category i.e. Children/Widows/Wives of personnel of the armed forces and paramilitary forces killed or disabled in action or on duty.

(3) 3% seats are reserved for Person with Disability (PWD).

(4) S.Nos. 1, 2 and 3 above are supernumerary.

(5) The seat matrix may be revised every year as per the directive of the University of Delhi regarding reservation.

Explanations

(a)  All seats shall be filled through an open competition only.

(b)  All efforts shall be made to make sure that no seat remains vacant. However, under no circumstances a candidate shall be admitted to the course later than the opening day of the 1st semester, each year.

(c)  Only the OBCs listed in the Central List of OBCs shall be considered for admission under the OBC category. The OBC certificate should mention that the candidate belongs to “Non Creamy layer” in order to be considered under the OBC category.
