Department of Philosophy
The Department offers M A and M Phil courses in the following areas: classics of Indian and Western philosophy (survey as well as study of specific texts), epistemology (theory of knowledge), metaphysics, ethics (moral philosophy) analytical philosophy (contemporary schools), logic, philosophy of science, social and political philosophy, philosophy of religion and aesthetics.
It is possible that some or all the teaching with respect to this Department may take place in the North Campus.
